    Yep, this is the Erich Kunzel’s arrangement of the suite. It’s different from Elmer’s very own arrangement. Just search “The Magnificent Seven – Elmer Bernstein ” where Elmer’s conducting this piece at the Proms and listen to the difference.

    You hit it right on the head. This music is b-i-g and epic. It makes the movie seem even more great and noble than it would have been without it.
    In fact it’s impossible to imagine The Magnificent Seven without Bernstein’s theme to propel it forward.
    And the orchestration is dead-on perfect.

    Reminds me of Henrik Larsson , they useed to play this at Celtic Park every time he scored .
    His shirt number was 7 and he was called the Magnificent 7 hence the song being played.
