    This intro used to give me chills up and down my spine. This was one of the coolest cop shows ever with the tropical settings, hula dancers, hot girls in bikinis,
    McGarrett, and who could ever forget, “Book ‘Em Danno, Murder One.” Every tuesday night at eight o’clock I would be waiting for the intro getting psyched for the show!!!! The seventies was dream for a young kid, let me go back, PLEASE!!!!

    To the non-Americans watching this video: The “Hawaii Five-O” refers to Hawaii becoming the 50th state (shortly before Obama was born and thus allowing him to become president. Guess that if Hawaii had joined a little later it would be president Clinton). ; – )

    I too lived through the 70’s and LOVE every second of it. I too love watching the original Hawaii Five 0 and nothing stands like the original, as one comment stated, the new show will probably suck since today’s hollywood crap can’t seem to get it right. I haven’t seen the new show yet and already I can sense it will stink real bad. I wish today’s hollywood morons would stop recreating the originals and start creating their originals! Reality shows sucks!! Thank God for the DVD players.
