Batman – *Uncut* 60’s TV episodes 1+2 (2 of 6) Hi Diddle Riddle / Smack In The Middle

Time to set your WABAC Machine to Wednesday January 12, 1966, and tune your TV to the ABC television network at 7:30pm (…6:30 Central)!

Here are the very first episodes of the classic Batman series! UNCUT with no commercial interruption!

Adam West as Batman! Frank Gorshin as the Riddler! The Batusi! Bat-turns! Fantastically-ridiculous dialogue! It’s all here!

As you watch, notice the bizarre, out-of-synch sound effects during the opening credits (you’ll hear them over Adam West’s credit). The first two episodes are only ones with this oddity. (The spinning red light at the beginning is also silent…)

These are the episodes that launched the Bat-craze of 1966! Relive them now!

    Tnx, Michelle, my fave show growing up. Gorshin moved like a deranged James Cagney, and the great laugh sounds like the prison freakout from ‘White Heat.’
