What’s the difference between "mobile to mobile" and texting?

I’m confused! The commerical with the girl and her mom (the "bff jill" commercial) that package is for unlimited mobile to mobile and 200 texts. Yet – unlimited text and mobile to mobile is like $20. What exactly is "mobile to mobile messaging"? Thanks for you answers.
nvm it just didn’t make sense since it wuz supposed to be a texting problem and it wuz for mobile to mobile which isn’t really messaging at all its calling

with it u get unlimited texting to anyone that has cingular. then u get 200 texts for anyone that doesnt have cingular.

I want to add facebook mobile and myspace mobile but all i have in unlimited texting and i was wondering do i have to have unlimited access to the internet if so? Please answer!

It depends what phone company you have (eg. t-mobile, 3, orange). Some phone companies give you free facebook and things, so you might need to check that out. Usually unless you have unlimited internet access it will cost you money so if I was you, I’d leave it because it can get very expensive. Hope I’ve helped..

My nokia mobile simcard lock due to the mistake but i don’t know of that puk code and security code. How can i open that my mobile? Please help me.

That’s funny , my sim card was also locked…about a week ago . but sadly NO you have to call your phone company and tell them your problem and if its really your pone just give them your information and they should give you the code . i have tmobile so it CAN be different but i highly doubt it . you have to have a code .

What features do you think mobile-phone users would expect to see in their phones in the near future? That, what feasible traits do you expect should be available on our mobile-phones in the coming future? In your opinion, what do you think the needs of cell-phone users are?

I can’t speak for anyone else, but I would like to see the mobile TV offerings start to include local stations, either through streaming with the mobile carrier or the phone having a regular TV tuner like a Sony Watchman kind of setup.

What is the difference between Mobile broadband and Wi-fi?

I understand that Wi-fi is accessed free from certain locations, coffee shops, shopping centers etc. So what is the advantage of mobile broadband?

Wifi refers to an Internet connection over a short distance radio signal put out by a wireless router or access point. This is what you normally find in your home. Other then the cost of having the Cable or DSL Internet brought to your house, you do not pay anything more for it. You produce the signal with your own router. It has a range of about 150 feet. This is used in coffee shops and malls because of its short range. It forces you to come into the shop to use it (and maybe you will buy something).

Mobile Broadband runs on the cell phone network. Anywhere your cell phone works, so will your Internet. And just like you can get into your car and drive across the country and your cell phone will continue to work by switching from tower to tower, so will your computer. You can use it almost anywhere.

However, the bandwidth needed for a computer is many times more than for a cell phone. And so the cell companies charge you a price that matches that usage. People who are unaware have accidentally run up bills in the thousands of dollars in a single month using their mobile connection to run the computer for more than a few minutes.

Check with your cell phone proivide and they can give you information on Mobile Broadband. But at this time the technology is still beyond most user’s price range.

Mobile Broadband is also used for the limited Internet connection you can get on most cell phones. But that is not a connection with the speed or power needed to run a full computer.

How can I connect a mobile phone to a web browser to view incoming texts?

I saw a presenter at a conference c onnect his mobile phone to his PC so that he could receive answers to questions he posed from incoming texts from the audience. I am using an Intel mac and a T-Mobile MDA. Hope to use it with Firefox. Any ideas?
